We are a group of individuals representing the church who seek to show love and compassion for the family of a deceased member of Arden. The bereavement committee offers lunch to the family and out-of-town guests on the day of the funeral, either in the church facility or at home. Members of the Bereavement committee prepare food from a fixed menu, bring it to the church and serve the meal or help deliver the food to the family as needed. In addition, there are set-up and clean-up helpers needed. Many of our members have blessed congregational families for years and we are in need of additional members to replace members who “retire” or move.
