(Sustained Under the Power of the Eternal Redeemer)
Arden has a significant number of faithful Senior Saints, and we welcome you to become a part of our caring fellowship. Our goal is to serve the varied needs of the Senior members of our congregation, so that the maturity and experience of this community of believers will continue as an active force of servant leadership in the church, community and world.
Friendship Sunday School Class
One of our most important weekly gatherings is the Sunday Friendship Class which meets in the Fellowship Room (Sanctuary Building, Lower Level) every Sunday morning at 9:30 and welcomes adults of all ages. The class provides the opportunity for fellowship, prayer and Bible study. Brett Callaway, Kevin Martin, and Tom Meeks team-teach the class. We are currently focusing on a biblically based topical study of such topics as "How Do We Know What We Know?", "Authority," What Is Truth?", The Tyranny of Good Intentions," Cheap Grace, Priceless Grace," "Suffering," and "Giving Thanks in All Things."
S.U.P.E.R. Saints Luncheon
Every fourth Thursday from January through May as well as September and October we enjoy fellowship around the tables in the Multipurpose Room with a luncheon at 12:30 followed by a special speaker or program.
