PHOTO DIRECTORY INFORMATION

 

OFFICER NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED THROUGH FEBRUARY 15



  1. Send a digital picture of you/your family with full names of those pictured to info@ardenpres.org
    Try to use a landscape orientation photo that is fairly close up. Pictures will become smaller in the print copies.

  2. You can also bring in a print photo to the office to be scanned if you do not have a digital photo.

  3. On February 15 and 22, we will have a photographer available (location TBD) between Sunday School and the worship service if you are unable to provide a photo by the two methods above and need to have your photo taken.

  4. From January 11 - February 22 we will have enlarged copies of our current directory (no photos) on tables in the sanctuary building. Please verify and/or correct all of your information on those hard copies.

  5. Be patient as this will take some time to implement. We will have some bumps along the way, but once we get the information updated, we will only need to maintain.


WHY DO IT THIS WAY INSTEAD OF THROUGH A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY?

Ease of maintenance: "Professional" directories are out of date by the time they are produced. Because these photos will be incorporated into our existing church database, we can maintain, format, and print these in house. There are professional companies with digital options, but we would need to contract with them and share our information.

Security: Our information is already in ACS. By not contracting with another 3rd party company we avoid an additional opportunity for lost/stolen data without extra cost.
