The youth ministry at Arden Presbyterian Church exists to come alongside parents to teach their children the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and equip them to know, love, and serve Him. We do this through faithfully teaching the Word of God, building relationships with students and their families, and by providing opportunities for them to grow in their relationship with Christ by serving in the church and in the world.
The youth ministry provides the following opportunities for students:
Sunday School (9:30am)
On Sunday mornings, middle and high school students gather together in the Youth Room as a large group for a time of singing and discussion-oriented Bible study. We are currently studying the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
Youth Group (Wednesdays @ 6:15 pm)
On Wednesday evenings, we have youth group for middle and high school students. During the school year we meet until 7:30 pm and we extend the hours during the summer. Our ministry is open to all students.
We also schedule monthly events as other times for fellowship. Events include board game nights, canoeing, hiking, and biking trips, camp outs, gaga ball, movie nights, bowling, and skiing, etc.

Mission Trips & Service Opportunities
Throughout the year we regularly schedule opportunities to serve our church and community. There are also opportunities to go on international mission trips with our church family. In the past, we have served with MTW Cherokee and Hope for the Inner City in Chattanooga, TN. This summer we are seeking to go on at least one international trip with Peru and Bulgaria being potential destinations.
Church Family Involvement
As a youth ministry, we are committed to encouraging students to be involved in the life of the church through using their gifts to serve in various capacities. Opportunities for service include the nursery, children's ministry, music ministry, and ushering. We also come together with the church body for events such as the mid-week meal, Fall Family Day, and all worship services.
