Women's Ministry
Arden Presbyterian Women's Ministries is dedicated to seeing all women at Arden growing as disciples in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We desire to fulfill this goal in three ways:
- studying the Word of God - individually and corporately through Bible studies, special programs, and the annual women's retreat.
- discipling and mentoring - formally and informally, our women are dedicated to cross-generational relationships, with the goal of older women mentoring (or "spiritually mothering") younger women, as per the mandate given in Titus 2:3-5
- outreach and service - the women's ministries at Arden encourage women to put feet to their faith, by extending the mercy of Christ to others through various opportunities within Bible studies, Circles, and outreach ministries.
Our Mission in Action
In the Word...
Women in the Church Bible Studies
- Women in the Word - Tuesday mornings, 9:30-11:30am, January - April, September - November. Winter/Spring of 2008 we will be studying the Gospel of Matthew. Come join us for a time of rich Bible study and sweet fellowship!
- Salt and Light Days are held each month in the place of the regular Bible study. Each month a different service project gives women the opportunity to put their faith into action, while fellowshipping with other women.
- Discipling and Mentoring...
Titus 2 Woman to Woman - taking its mandate from Titus 2:3-5, Woman to Woman is a loosely structured ministry designed to bring women together in discipleship relationships. Women of all ages are invited to participate in this dynamic ministry.
