Welcome to our preschool page and thank you for checking us out!
It is the heart of Arden Presbyterian Preschool and Kindergarten that we run like a children's ministry. Valuing each child as the uniquely created individual that they are! Helping them to not only grow in learning abc's/academics, but also emotional intelligence/social interaction, and especially growing each day spiritually. We want each student to know how "BIG" God loves them and as Christian educators, we work hard to assist the whole child's development. Each week we have a music teacher come to the school and every Wednesday we have chapel time where we gather together to sing and have a Bible story time/discussion together.
We know that parenting is so very hard right now as most of us are parents. So not only do we want to encourage children, but we want to encourage families to truly "raise a child up in the way they should go". Our staff is available to answer any questions that parents may have and come alongside them as they work through the different stages that arise during the preschool years.
Our preschool days run from 9 to 12:30 and are full of fun and play. At this developmental stage, play is how children mostly absorb their learning. So we use sensory stations, prop boxes, and various interactive activities to bring the world to life for them while they are also working on areas of focus (such as fine or gross motor skills). Mr.Rogers said it best when he said, "Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning." So, not only do we want our students to learn developmentally appropriate concepts but more importantly, we strive to find engaging, fun, and unique ways in which to do so.

- Our half-day program (9-12:30) begins at age 2 and we have classes for 3s, 4s, and a half-day Kindergarten class.
- Child's birthday must fall on or before Aug 31st of the school year to determine what age group they qualify.
- We can offer 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week based upon availability of space.
- The rough breakdown of rates for 2023-2024 (payment amount due each month)-
$255 for 2 days per week
$285 for 3 days per week
$305 for 4 days per week
$325 for 5 days per week
*We unfortunately do not qualify for any of the voucher programs at this time.
We will not be accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year until after the beginning of January 2024.
